LONDON (Reuters) - A British man who accidentally shot himself in the testicles after drinking 15 pints of beer was jailed for five years on Tuesday for possessing an illegal firearm, a court spokesman said.

David Walker, 28, was arguing with a friend at a pub in South Yorkshire, northern England, when he went home to get his sawed-off shotgun, which he jammed into his trousers.

But as he walked back to the pub, the gun went off, blasting pellets into his testicles. Doctors later removed what remained of his testicles during emergency surgery. ("Men down! Men Down!" --- Lieutenant Dick)

The moral of the story: Guns are only for boys with no cojones.

This idiot should be a poster boy for anti-gun lobbying. Serves him right. It baffles me WHY, after having some heated argument with his mate, he just HAD to go back to his shack to arm himself with a gun--- then again, stupidity has no reason. Makes me think, if this nut case hadn’t blown his own nuts to bits, he would have blasted his friend’s head to pieces with that sawed off shotgun. Some pathetic action man. I don’t really have the fetish for self-mutilation. I’m glad the moron’s not gonna be able to pollute the human gene pool, eva!

People who have illegal guns aren’t really up to anything but to use it to either seriously injure or kill another being--- whether animal or human. This is after all, what guns are made for. Charlton Heston disciples might waffle on angrily that they’re only aiming at insignificant animals (ughk! Not as much as them!), or clay pigeons, or dummies, or silhouette, plate or whatever target practice. But as they say, it’s the thought that counts. As long as we are socially conditioned that guns are acceptable for public consumption, no matter where it’s pointed at, then incidences of gun crimes will never go down. I don’t believe we can ever live in a society where there will be responsible gun ownership. Unfortunately, the world is an endless pit of morons.
